Le Battle of Britain Memorial Flight<\/a>\u00a0fait voler deux Hawker Hurricane Mk IIc: LF363 et PZ865.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

LF363 fut construit \u00e0 l’usine Hawker \u00e0 Langley pr\u00e8s de Slough. Son premier vol eut lieu en janvier 1944 et il s’agirait du dernier Hurricane entrer en service au sein de la Royal Air Force. L’appareil servit avec le No 63 Squadron \u00e0 Turnhouse, le No\u00a0309 (Polish) Squadron \u00e0 Drem, o\u00f9 il fut employ\u00e9 dans des patrouilles maritimes au large de l’Ecosse, et au No 26 Squadron o\u00f9 il fut employ\u00e9 \u00e0 des fins d’observation d’artillerie navale et de reconnaissance avant la fin du conflit.<\/p>\n

Dernier des 14 533 Hurricane qui furent construits, PZ865 sortit des lignes de production de Hawker \u00e0 Langley, en juillet 1944 portant l’inscuption \u2018The Last of the Many<\/em><\/strong>\u2019 (Le dernier de beaucoup<\/em>) des deux c\u00f4t\u00e9s du fuselage. Soucieux de pr\u00e9server le dernier Hurricane jamais construit, Hawkers racheta l’appareil \u00e0 l’Air Ministry<\/em>\u00a0 et le stocka \u00e0 Langley.<\/p>\n
