Abattu en France en 1942, il passa le reste du conflit en captivit\u00e9. Il devint le commandant du No 303 Squadron\u00a0en f\u00e9vrier 1946. Il est cr\u00e9dit\u00e9 de 9 victoires a\u00e9riennes (et une partag\u00e9e), ainsi que 4 victoires probables.
