Pour montrer que cet appareil \u00e9tait le meilleur, son \u00e9quipage le baptisa \u00ab\u00a0Ichi Ban\u00a0\u00bb (\u00ab\u00a0Num\u00e9ro Un\u00a0\u00bb en japonais) et ajouta le fameux \u00ab\u00a0Habu\u00a0\u00bb sur l&#8217;empennage. L&rsquo;autre SR-71B s&rsquo;\u00e9crasa en 1968. 956 est probablement le mieux connu des Blackbirds car il a \u00e9t\u00e9 photographi\u00e9 de tr\u00e8s nombreuses fois.
